Law school can be a difficult terrain to navigate for public- interest minded law students, activists, organizers and lefties. But just as there is rebellious lawyering, so exists rebellious legal training. Claudia Peña, of UCLA School of Law, will be joining us to share her experience as a community organizer before, during, and after law school.
Claudia Peña teaches Introduction to Disability Law and Re-envisioning/Transformative Justice.
em. Her research interests include civil, human, and disability rights as well as trauma-informed lawyering.
