UW Law Clinics Now Hiring Summer Work Study Interns!

The UW Law School Clinical Law Program provides legal representation, advice and other appropriate legal services to eligible clients on a pro bono basis. During the summer, legal interns provide legal assistance to clients of the Federal Tax Clinic, Tribal Court Public Defense Clinic, and Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. Intern tasks vary from clinic to clinic and generally include legal research, analysis and writing, client interviewing and other communications, court or administrative agency appearances, case management as well as additional tasks assigned.

The UW Clinical Program seeks up to six summer legal interns. Pay is $17/hour for up to 40 hours/week. Applicants should specify if they have a preference for working in a particular clinic.

Columbia Legal Services seeks Elder Law Adjunct Attorney and Legal Fellow

Columbia Legal Services represents communities facing poverty and oppression, and uses every legal tool available on their behalf. Columbia Legal Services currently seeks to fill the following positions:

  1. Elder Law Adjunct Attorney (Seattle, WA): Columbia Legal Services seeks a full time adjunct attorney to support its practice on behalf of low income clients and to advance systemic reform on behalf of seniors including public benefits, guardianship, housing, long-term care, and access to medical or mental health services, as well as other areas of practice based upon the attorney’s experience, such as family law. A willingness and ability to learn these areas is critical to success. This  is a full‐time, grant‐funded, adjunct position that ends on December 20, 2019.   2. Legal Fellow, Working Families Project (Wenatchee, WA): Columbia Legal Services seeks a full-time Legal Fellow to work in our Working Families Project for a two-year fellowship.
