Come join the American Constitution Society for a Social Justice Tuesday discussion about the recent DOMA and Proposition 8 cases argued before the Supreme Court. Our speakers include Ilya Shapiro, who filed an amicus brief in the DOMA case on behalf of the Cato Institute, and Margaret Chen of the ACLU of Washington.

The Fight Against Domestic Violence: Turning Victims Into Survivors

Keynote speaker Dan Satterberg, King County Prosecuting Attorney, will offer insight into the phenomenon of victim recantation in the criminal prosecution of domestic violence cases and will talk about the support that vulnerable victims need to change their lives and end the abuse.
