Practicing Before the EPA’s Administrative Law Judges: A Litigation Seminar

U.S. EPA’s Administrative Law Judges and staff attorneys, along with Senior Counsel for EPA Region 10, will present a two-day practicum focused on administrative litigation and environmental law. Topics will cover the lifespan of environmental enforcement cases, from pleadings to appeals, with a focus on practical trial skills, negotiation before the ALJs, and penalty calculations. The seminar will offer a healthy mix of lectures, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and demonstrative exercises.

Seminar is free and open to the public upon registration (see below)

CLE credit is available to members of the Washington Bar ($1 filing fee)

You must bring proper photo ID to pass through building security

Check-in opens at 8:30 am, the Seminar begins at 9:00 am
