2013 Summer Internship with Federal Defenders of New York

Federal Defenders of New York (FDNY) is hiring a summer intern for summer of 2013. A summer intern’s primary responsibility is to assist attorneys in the trial division and the appellate unit with their case load. Assignments include researching legal questions, drafting briefs, conducting field investigations & client interviews, and participating in court hearings and trials.  FDNY offers law students a unique and up-close opportunity to learn about the federal criminal process in a friendly and collegial environment.

Qualifications: Students must have completed either their first or second year of law school.

Salary: This is an unpaid internship.
