The World Justice Project is hiring a Director of Development, to be located in our sunny Seattle office at 4th & Union.
Founded in 2006, The World Justice Project (WJP), an independent, non-profit organization, works to advance the rule of law for the development of communities of opportunity and equity worldwide. The WJP’s multinational and multidisciplinary efforts are aimed at fostering awareness among the general public about the concept and impact of the rule of law; promoting government reforms (directly or indirectly) to advance the rule of law worldwide; and developing practical programs on the ground in support of the rule of law.
The Director of Development has primary responsibility for expanding the WJP’s budget chiefly through identifying prospects and cultivating, soliciting and stewarding large gifts from foundations, corporations, governments and individuals, working in close collaboration with WJP’s Founder, President & CEO, and with WJP’s Executive Director. This position reports to the Executive Director and is supported by staff in the Washington, D.C. office.
